Wasserdichter Wetterschutz bei Softshell-ähnlichem Klimakomfort, niedriges Gewicht, aber immense Wärme – das alles hat JACK WOLFSKIN in die neue alpine 3-in-1-Jacke BROAD PEAK XT JACKET gepackt. Ausgerichtet ist sie auf anspruchsvolle Touren bei niedrigen Temperaturen, sei es Eisklettern, Skitouren oder Kombiniertes. Dazu bietet sie die Isolation der Daune in Verbindung mit der dynamischen Atmungsaktivität des innovativen Materials TEXAPORE AIR O3+. Das heißt, je mehr Sie sich bewegen, desto besser funktioniert der Luftaustausch durch die Jacke. Denn für die Außenjacke verwenden wir unser wasserdichtes, aber gleichzeitig luftdurchlässiges Wetterschutz-Laminat TEXAPORE AIR O3+. Das Besondere: Es erlaubt einen stetigen Luftaustausch durch das Material, wie er z. B. von Softshells bekannt ist. Der exzellente Wasserdampfdurchgang des Materials wird so durch einen Abtransport feucht-warmer Luft ergänzt. Falls das für ein komfortables Innenklima nicht ausreicht, finden Sie selbstverständlich auch Belüftungs-Reißverschlüsse unter den Armen. Partien aus dreilagigem TEXAPORE TASLAN machen die Jacke robust für den Kontakt mit Fels und Eis. Auch die Innenjacke ist ein Technikpaket: Sie ist mit unserer extrem warmen Hochleistungs-Daune gefüllt und nahezu winddicht – solo also gut geeignet für knackig-kalte, trockene Tage. Die Kombination mit dem leichten Obermaterial und der Luftaustausch durch die Außenjacke sind optimal, um die Bauschkraft und Wärmeleistung der Daunen voll zu entfalten. Elastische Fleece-Einsätze unter den Armen erhöhen den Klimakomfort und elastische Bündchen an den Ärmeln den Kälteschutz. Dass die BROAD PEAK XT JACKET bei aller Funktionalität nur 1020 g (Größe L) wiegt, liegt an der durchdachten Kombination von leichten Materialien mit gewichtssparenden Details.

Engineered to cope with demanding use in low temperatures – ice climbing, ski touring or general mountaineering – the BROAD PEAK XT delivers the superb insulation of down teamed with the dynamic breathability of our innovative new high-performance fabric, TEXAPORE AIR O3+. The more dynamic the activity, the better the breathability of the fabric! The shell jacket is tailored from TEXAPORE AIR O3+, a waterproof, air permeable weather protective laminate. The killer app is the continual air exchange that occurs through the fabric, which means that the already excellent moisture vapour transmission rate is enhanced by the effective expulsion of warm, damp air. Venting pit zips allow additional regulation of the internal microclimate. Triple layer TEXAPORE TASLAN is used at critical wear zones on the shell jacket, which means it is tough enough to withstand contact with rock and ice. The inner jacket also boasts some impressive technical credentials. It is fiulled with extremely warm, high-performance down and is virtually windproof – making it ideal for wear as a stand-alone jacket for bitterly cold, dry days. The combination of a lightweight shell fabric on the inner jacket and the air exchange through the shell jacket creates optimal conditions for the down to achieve its full loft. Kinetic stretch fleece inserts under the arms and elasticated cold block cuffs ramp up the climate comfort. In spite of its full-spec functionality, the BROAD PEAK XT JACKET weighs in at just 1020 g (size L), which is all down to the sophisticated combination of lightweight fabrics and the weight-optimised detailing.
